Hi all, well after one year of nothing happening my drivers side window only goes half way up when you close the door, does anyone know if i can fix it myself or is it a trip to the garage. (it only goes halfway up when you press the alarm as well). Gordon.
Can you help with my head lamp lens problem?
If so I'll swap with ya

Sounds like you got a wet doobree! (sorry to get technical
It's the little circuit board in the door when it get wet it don't work very well.
If you can get it out yourself, give it the once over with a hair dryer.
If you can't get it to your TVR garage.
Had both the drivers and passenger window go tits up in the past! It’s usually a quick fix, IF you know what you are doing!

How do you get to the little circuit board then?? I've got a similar problem. tried swapping the little ECU over, but didn't resolve it.

Tovie,
If changing the encoder PCB doesn't solve the problem and swapping the door ECU's over moves the fault to the passenger door, drop me a PM as I have a "spare" ECU you can have for less than a new one (ME0480 is the part number I think)
Andy
Andy. How much do you want for the ECU? If changing the encoder PCB doesn't solve the problem and swapping the door ECU's over moves the fault to the passenger door, drop me a PM as I have a "spare" ECU you can have for less than a new one (ME0480 is the part number I think)

Nothing worse than an intermittent fault....might be worth taking off the centre console and disconnecting/cleaning/reconnecting the door ECU though.
