dont know what to do
Discussion
i have spent many months away in the usa and the poor car has sat lonely in the garage(except for the 3 motor bikes and other toys), now my company want to transfer me to the usa for at least the next 2 years on a permanent basis, just cant make up my mind whether to sell her or continue to store her.ideally would take her along but they dont know true class when they see it, just wondering what other people would do, the car is started and driven by good old dad but it scares the s**t out of him so its not given a proper drive all the time....advice wanted please
Using your head you would sell it and look forward to another one when you're once again permanently resident here.
Using your heart you would keep it and send it birthday cards, valentine cards, flowers and chocolates every year and hope it didn't act bolshey when you do show up - just like any long-distance relationship!

My Dad used to look after my Elise when I worked abroad, and I think he would quite like to look after my Tuscan if I was to work abroad again.
I think Ricardo is right - if you choose with your head you'd sell and buy another later, but I'd be tempted to keep it if you've had it a while and feel emotionally attached! At least this way you get to drive it on trips back to the UK!
