Hi

Examination of some recent prices for Mark 1 and Mark 2 Tuscans seem to suggest that Mark 1s are more desirable than Mark 2s. Look at Ciceley's site where a 2005 Mark 2 with 10000 miles is only £2K more than a 2003 Mark 1 with 15000 miles.

IMHO the T2 does look a little more fussy than the mk 1. Its still a beautiful car, but I think tvr got it right the first time.

Perhaps it will be a "grower" like the modern BMW designs.

this one www.pistonheads.com/sales/121566.htm shame about the colour.
they are becoming a bargain. compared to sellers wanting cica 20k for a 2000 model which is just silly money..

I like both very much. However when I came to change mine I went for the MK1. I prefer the original look and especially the interior, that speedo pod is just a work of art. (whereas the interior of the Tusc2 seems a bit ... hmmmmmmmm... less stylish) But off course its down to personal taste. There is also the interior of tusc2 Conv which is different again.

I bought mine in june, and went for the latest mk1 i could find which turned out to be an 04, even now the mk2's are available for the same price i paid i would still rather a MK1, imo it just looks meaner!!

I like the Mk1's more, specifically the headlights, although I'm probably biased!

I agree. I think the front end of the Mk1 looks much better than the Mk2, however I do think the rear of the Mk2 looks better than the Mk1...Shake that ass..

When I was buying my mark 2 last year, I did consider a mark 1, took them both for a test drive and in my opinion there was no comparison in the drive and build quality - I took the mark 2.
