headlights on my mk1

Hello Everyone,

Have been struggling for days - can anybody help?

Recently fitted white indicators to my year 2000 mk1, all went well other than the fact that I had to remove the drivers side front light to get the new indicator fitting mounted.

I was surprised to see that the top ball joint fitting was attached to an electric motor (same both sides).

Where is the switch that governs its setting?

How do I adjust it?

I am really struggling to get it clipped back together (the motorised ball joint). Is there a special technique to this?

Any help will be gratefully appreciated.
