Guys
I need to get the door skins off. I know there are 2 bolts in the bottom of the door pocket which need to come out, however mine have corroded to the point where I am not sure if the allen key will work (methinks not having already tried on the weekend).

I presume I am not the only one to have had this happen so ahs anyone got a suggestion for removing the bolts to get the door card off? Made all the more tricky due to the tight confines of the storage bin....

My only thought is to super glue / liquid nail something to the top of them (eg a wing nut) then try some pliers. Any thoughts?

Cheers

Either drill them out completely (with a looooong drill) or drill a smaller hole through them and use a stud extractor?? If you can get a small file in there and they are a bit proud of the surrounding, file a slot in the top and use a 'normal' screwdriver.

Hope this helps

you can buy a reverse drill bit, id say about 2.5mm will do, give them a light tap with a hammer and screwdriver first to loosen, then the reverse bit will dig in and do the job. Not sure about the rest of the door though, although id like some advice on putting them back in, my drivers side keeps popping out of the frame at the bottom, in turn stopping the door closing smoothly.

Hmmm.
Don't own a drill sadly (in the UK anyway).
Besides, getting a drill in there would be nigh on impossible I reckon!

I had the same problem on my Tuscan, a while back, soak overnight in WD, then get a long extension screw driver with interchangable heads, the one i had came right up past the door pockets, have some one push the door up as you push down and turn the allen screws,
and you might be lucky, there are 3 bolts BTW, shine a torch in the pocket to see them all
