Because some of the workers are away from any respect for the clients we are all.
Let me explain : It is my 3rd TVR (1 cerb 450, 1 Griff 500), now I am mad enough to run a LHD 2005 MK2 from new in France, I had it serviced and we found 2 plugs over 6 very badly screwed in the engine (one we could take it off with no damage, the other broke and we had to take the top engine off). Such a thing is unbeleivable to me, it has been done on purpose by someone who doesn't care for the company, for the product, for the dummy payer customer.

For this some of them really deserve what they got.

My car is a real passion to me and I can't bare thinking about such sillyness.

I don't even tell you about my waranty...

Sorry I had to write down all my anger.

Could it be that a 2005 car has already been serviced before and not necessarily by a TVR engineer?
Not doubting your passion or anger over the situation but surely this must be considered.
Also if the plugs were incorrectly fitted this would have affected the compression/running of the engine, or maybe they appeared to be over-tightened but again this could have been a case of them 'glueing' themselves after two years.
Hope now it's sorted you can put this behind you and enjoy the summerdriving

Unfortunately, it was really the first time someone took the plugs off, they weren't too tighten, just put very badly in force..
I enjoy my car a lot, sunday will be track day at the HTTT Paul Ricard South of France.
My TVR or nothing !

Hello,

is your red LHD Tuscan the former demo-car of the french-dealer (Romain)?

There's also a new dealer location in Monaco I believe, since the french authorities do not homologated the TVR's

I saw the car there last summer.

Yes, that is my car now, we managed to get it registrated in french plates, at a high cost... There is nothing official for TVR in Monaco except Romain who is going to set a place in the area. Now times are a bit cloudy for selling TVR, let's hope sun commes back !
