How do you stop Water ingress
Discussion
I recently had a problem in that my Tuscan would not respond to my remote and so the door wouldnt unlock.
It took a day and the help of the German ADAC and help off PH forum to get in the car.
The day before I drove through some heavy rain and felt water dripping onto my legs ?!?!
Not much but enough to require investigation.
I found that the water appeared to be coming down the "a" post and running across the alluminium shelf beam. I found that the fuse/relay board was totally wet. Obviously not a good thing and I basically assumed that this was probably the reason for my problems the next day.
Does anyone know how the water gets in and any way to stop it.
I had a new driver side top door seal fitted a few weeks ago and noticed that it needed sliding further forward or I could see a little day light but that isnt stopping the water.
The mirror controls on the door panel are also constantly wet resulting in shorting problems.
Thanks
