Engine rebuilds
Discussion
Hi
I imagine that everyone in the Tuscan fraternity is sick of questions about the speed six engine and rebuilds, but i have to ask this as i'm very close to getting my first Tuscan as i've sold the Chimaera.
What is the difference between a TVR Power rebuild, austec rebuild and a factory rebuild? Has there been a difference in their life spans and is one more reliable than the other?
Sorry to drag all this up again, but i just want to make sure i get the right one...
I'll wait in my box....

James,
May I suggest that you Do your research on the issues with the S6 and you will know what to ask. Then call each one of them up and ask the right questions. Have a look at Autocrafts website thats a good place to start to begin understand what to ask.

the others may also have similar info up on their pages. I know that each of them offer differing solutions. But it's your money and you need to decide where to spend it wisely. Having said that, your post suggests you do not have a car yet...! If so then may I further suggest you buy a 2004 + car in general they seem to be lasting better than the earlier ones so far did.
Good luck
