Farewell tuscaneers as car now sold. Moved to porsche as 2+2 and prices are dropping like a stone with TVR. I have calculated the £'s per mile the TVR has cost and had better not tell my accountant. Great car but ridiculous costs... Family love new car (C2 996 ). Best of luck to all you in this forum.

I have been looking at 996 prices and thay seem to be droping quicker than tuscans?????
You wouldn't believe how difficult it was to shift tuscan. The local TVR dealer wasnt interested as his showroom is full of long standing motors. I bought new thinking that 3 years warranty should safeguard prices but as you all know this is causing great uncertainty in TVR sales market. Who would buy a £40,000 plus vehicle with this lack of support ???? My rose tinted specs dropped down to show real world outside land of TVR and hopefully had sense to move into realistic car ownership. For me the porsche will be used more, as my commute is such that the oil temp just reaches required level by time I reach outskirts of Leeds and so have to sit at junctions which was a waste of TVR's talents etc.. So can't get daily benefits. I think the porsche will always have a market , no matter what the fall may be. ( when I bought Tuscan not any of my friends wanted a spin in it. After only 24 hours of ownership I've had 5 texts asking for a spin. I find this amazing as TVR is much faster and more unique...but just goes to show people's perceptions....)

WTF...if you advertise and no one bites..you just have to hold on or get rid..you can see plenty for sale in classifieds and at dealers..many have been there for ages and the high priced ones will probably never shift. I felt it was best to move on.. right or wrong..foolish or wise, its done and I have nice car to drive..
