Passenger Door thinks its open

On the same theme as my last post....

Was out in the rain and the passenger window refuses to close as the car thinks the door is still open. I know the previous owner had a problem with this (he posted a thread) but thought it had gone away when it dried out.

I fooled the car and seemed to re-set the car by arming the alarm. Don't know if all alarms are closure alarms but mine (standard Meta) closes the windows. I locked the car and the window closed. Diss-armed the alarm and problem was gone and hasn't come back again.

Sometimes the drivers door button won't let you in so you have to lean in the passenger side and press the internal button to get in.

Has anyone else experienced these problems? Could it be the alarm??

Possibly the micro switch behind the aluminum trim on the door catch has come loose.
