Hi all,

Does anyone know of the part number for a replacement radiator cap for my tuscan?

I have been told they are a VW part.

Cheers in advance.

Hope you got home ok with the temporary cap. I've got the part number for the Chimaera one, which looks identical (VW / Audi part ref 443121321). These 'may' have different ratings and i would suggest a call to Tony at Hexham to make sure you get the right one. He may have one in stock thumbup

It was good to meet you on Sunday, and i'm sure we'll see you on a few more runs.

Cheers

Paul

Cheers Paul,

Yes i did get home ok yesterday with purpose built TVR radiator cap.thumbupbiglaugh
When i got home i took off the bonnet and had a good look around the garage but the cap was definitely not there. So contrary to Alison's opinion i had not left it off!!!hehe

Thanks to everyone who lent a hand particularly to the gentlman who gave me his 5 ltrs of water and roll of gaffer tape. thumbup thumbup

I'll give Tony a call regarding a replacement cap.

I will meet a few more people on other runs, hopefully without them having to come to my rescue again!! biglaugh

Even with my little episode we had a good day meeting other Tivvers and driving up to Holy Island.thumbup

Thanks again.
