Hi,

Sooooo.
Opened passenger door got in closed it, the window didn’t go back up. Tried using the dial didn’t do anything. Tried lowering it and it went all the way down but still wouldn’t go up.
Switched control unit and PS window went up when using the dial but door wouldn’t open. Tried PS control unit on driver side and didn’t do anything. Put original DS unit back to drivers side after closing PS window. Driver door would not close and the window will not go up.
I’m currently stuck with a car where the passenger door window is now down, door won’t open (even when using emergency release under the dash) and a driver door that won’t close.
Now I presume the unit needs to be told window position and if the door is open of closed? If so, how do you “reset” the “memory” so it knows the door/window is either open or closed?
I’m also guessing I need at least 1 new control unit (ME0480).

Thanks for any ideas of suggestions.

Isn‘t the emergency release a mechanical release which should work eben with electricity? Thats the way it works in the later t-cars.

If it is the same in the Tuscan and not working in your car there might be a failure in the door mechanisme and not the control unit.
