Interior door button
Discussion
My driver's door button is beginning to be temperamental and sometimes doesn't work. This is more annoying than anything else but apparently it's a TVR unique PCB and so difficult to source. While it can be sent off for repair I'd rather have a replacement to swap out straightaway but it's not available from Motoclan or Race Proved.
I can't remember reading on here of anything door related but hoping someone may have a suggestion or spare switch.

Hi John, my experience is with the Mk.1, with the door release buttons either side of the radio housing.
If you can access the switch with the radio removed from the binnacle/housing, it's easy enough to unplug the switch 2-pin connector and then release the backing nut on the switch which allows the switch to be pulled out sufficiently to apply some contact cleaner to the switch itself. Might as well to the connector pins as well!
The ECU for the doors are located under the central console - easy enough to lift off (4 off self tappers) and remove the gear knob to allow the gaiter to slide over the stick - likewise the handbrake grip.
