Location for battery charger access

I previously had access to my CTEK charger cable tucked up in the battery tray space. Not too bad a location but sometimes the charge cable would fall down and drag along the road.

Now trying it located next to one of the front fans using a homemade bracket and attached to one of the fan lugs. This way I can reach in and connect/disconnect fairly easily. Shouldn't get much water there and the CTECK has a weather cap anyway which is still easy to fit.

Great idea. Did you need to extend the cables at all?

Yes just some twin core from Halfords and an in-line fuse 5A up to the battery terminals. I reused the end connectors with a bit more soldering. The loop holding the CTEK connector to the fan shroud was made from an old jubilee clip with a bit of paint and some small bolts. An M6 hex head fitted nicely into the shroud lug.
