Big Bore Exhaust; Faster or Slower
Discussion
I recently had a big bore exhaust and cans fitted to my mk 2 Tuscan S, and after a mini track evening this week at Alconbury airfield with around 15 other TVR's, I thought my car seemed a little slower than with the standard S exhaust, and in a straight line it didn't pull away from a standard mk 2 Tuscan.
I didn't expect any power improvements with the new exhuast, but I didn't expect it to seem slower either, or maybe I need a re-map?
The cans have been 3/4 sleeved, would that have a detrimental effect on power, as I'm thinking of having them fully sleeved?
