The time has come for a bit more noise and i wondered if people have a preference between Carbon Can Co and Powertech. Is there really any difference?
I like the pops, cracks and bangs that i've hear in a few other Tuscans, but has this been acheived by de-catting? I'd rather not de-cat if i don't have to.
I assume neither type of can will do any damage?
Any thoughts would be helpful, mine's a 3.6 MKII. Will probably stick with a carbon finish as it goes well with a black car.
Cheers,
Tom

I think they are the same product under different brands, have a feeling Powertech is a more recent brand name for the CCC's, 'So Called' bought powertech just recently.

Regardless, they are both noisy thumbup

The rest of my co0nvoy to Le4 Mans this year complained that they couldn't hear their own cars over my Tuscan decatted with CCC's.

Other cars were: Cayman S, 993 C2S, Caterham, M3, Rangie Sport, Elise.

They made me go at the back of the convoy cry

(I did get a bit bored though and passed them every now and then as they were holding me up)

I put straight through PowerTech cans on my car with cats left in, sounded fantastic. IMO it's too loud with cats out, sounds great but I a little anti social when you've got your missus in the car; but then again some people might like that!laugh
