I've done a few searches about this and most say once you pull off the glass you can access the door switch.

Unfortunately my wing mirror wants to test me a little further (which I'm failing at) rolleyes

This is how far I've managed to get after removing the glass and taking off the casing which holds the mirror angle adjuster:

The switch is nearly obscured by the metal frame which appears to be the main body of the wing mirror. It seems to me the only way to get to the switch is by removing the body coloured casing from frame.

Anyone else managed to do this? confused

Thanks

Sorry... I followed the same path as you... gave in and asked the dealer to do it. Figured I could held them responsible for any damage or failure to re-assemble!

Luckily I found a corroded wire in the door which was the reason for the switch not working. Hope you get yours sorted soon.
