Can anyone tell me how the side indicators are removed? One of mine has been damaged leaving just the grey oval base with the bulb.

Its firmly attached and I dont want to do any more damage by taking it off the wrong way.

Can't be sure as it is a while since I had a Tuscan, but you need to remove the bonnet, open up the service bonnet and there should be a panel behind the repeator in the inner wing held on with some screws, remove that and you should have access to the repeater from the rear.

Mine were just stuck on with a type of double sided sticky tape, just go careful not to lift any paint.

Thanks for your replies. I had a fairly good look and could not see any sign of access from the engine bay.

There's no movement on it at all which suggests that it is indeed stuck on. I've ordered a new one so perhaps that will give me some more clues.

I dont suppose the clear bit is meant to come off for bulb replacement is it? If so then I may be able to get away with replacing just that and leaving the base in place.

I'm pretty sure the bulb will come out from the back. If you try to just stick the clear cover on, it will probably let condensation in and mist up. I would recommend replacing the whole thing. I believe the original side repeaters clipped into place however if yours have been replaced for aftermarket clear ones they usually stick on, either way gently prizing them off should be ok.

It will definitely be stuck on, as were mine, use a hairdryer and a credit card or even tooth floss, warm up the adhesive and use the credit card/tooth floss to work it loose. You'll have to glue the new ones back on, i used thin double sided foam tape and a sharp scalpel.

The 'main' front indicators (round) are accessed via a removable panel in the engine bay...likewise, the main and dipped beam lamps.
The wing repeaters can be removed by gently sliding the whole unit to the front of the car and the lifting the back edge of the unit. You'll then be able to see a grey plastic clip, which needs to be compressed as you lift the repeater out from the wing along with the wiring. Should be obvious the how to plug in the new unit to the loom. I'd still use a bit of heat to ease any double sided tape off the paintwork.

Thanks all. Got a new repeater from Racing Green today and all is revealed.

As mentioned above, you push it to one side. Then you pull the opposite end towards you. Which way you push it depends on which way up it has been inserted.

And the clear part is definitely not meant to be removable (except when wiped off by another vehicle as in this case).

Just need to sort out the wing respray now.
