Some like it hot?
Discussion
Took mine out for a long run yesterday (didn't you?). Stopped to pick up my daughter, started ok but ran very rough until I could get back to the open road, then fine. Same again after a short stop at the shops....stalled on idle after starting, complained of low oil pressure until I could get the revs up.
No problems at all on the way to Austec this am (to get suspension upgraded). Am I looking at a bigger bill, or is this just what they're like when they are hot?

Same here, also at Silverstone on Sunday and stop start ina traffic jam in Moreton in Marsh. When running (even quite quickly) tem didnt get above 87.
Peak temp was when I had to stand in a queue after about 15 minutes of spirited run and the temp reached 97.
No splutters, no jerkiness, in fact it runs beter hot

Hi,
Mine does that on really hot days if i start engine with air con on.No problem if i start with it off and then switch aircon back on.I think its a massive initial drain when aircon is working hard.

IIRC, Graham V's manual advises to reduce the load on the engine at start-up by turning the a/c off and setting the heater blower to low (well, think the heater blower is about being kind to the heater ecu).Mine does that on really hot days if i start engine with air con on.No problem if i start with it off and then switch aircon back on.I think its a massive initial drain when aircon is working hard.

Makes sense really.
