renew engine mount n/s
Discussion
just discoverd my n/s engine mount has gone and needs replacement.
Has anyone done this? Is it a DIY job and if so, how do I support the engine ?
My plan is to jack the car at n/s. lower it at supports, remove wheel, batt cover to reach bolts etc etc and then jack the engine a bit up. Or is that too risky damaging the sump ?
Advice apreciated

Job done !
Thanks for the help. Took me 5 hrs to complete te job, including putting some helicoils in for mounting the plate under engine. Fiddly but really doable.
My experience :
Jack up car and support it.
Unscrew plate under engine
Remove both wheels
Remove airbox (completely)
Remove lower cat
Remove lower lambda
Loosen PAS pump (to allow engine to move towards chassis)
Jack up engine
Undo bolts from NS and OS engine mount
Undo bolts from engine mount to chassis (didn't remove the battery, just loosened it !)
Jack up engine as high as possible
Push engine over to drivers side (used an old carjack and some peaces of wood)
Take mount out (move it downwards and tilt) - fiddling for 1/2 hour to get engine far enough up and away
Shorten threads from new mount (aproxx 10mm).
Mount every thing you removed.
Take to days to get rid of the musclepain from lying under the car for aproxx. 3 hrs.
So, ready for next winterjob, renew wishbone bushes!
What a cracking car. Love it.
Ronald.
