Broken my seat

I have broken the bolster on the drivers seat. My fault completly, i decided they were a bit wide apart so squeezed them in together, AAH thats better nice tight fit now and hugging me nicely....until i went round the first corner.

Metal piece has snapped, is there an easy way to repair? Sure i read somewhere about someone elses breaking and if i remember correctly it was the outer bolster.

Most of them have broken at some time, they aren't the best design tbh. I think there is better way to do it, as the welds break and the bracket, you can sometimes get away with a big washer. Which bit is broken?

Im not sure, think i'll have to pull the seat out and have a look.
