Arrrrhhhhh First Breakdown!
Discussion
The cover comes off undoing the socket head bolts on the floor and 3 off at the top into the pedal box 'frame'.
Think that will allow you enough access to throttle pedal 'end'. Then, under the bonnet (main) you'll have to remove both halves of the airbox to get access to the crank between Nos. 3 and 4 throttle bodies.
Hope the AA man has a good light - getting a bit dark now.

I managed to drive home once by using a pair of pliers on the end of the cable and operating it as a hand throttle. It doesn't count as a breakdown if you can drive home

thats brilliant, like something from only fools and horses
It reminds me of years ago getting a lift off a mate in his cortina, it was absolutly pissing down and his wipers wern't working, you had the driver driving out of his window and the passenger out the other window directing him away from the kerb
It must have been 16 years ago but i can still remember it clear as day. 'over waz over' is still in my head
Got home eventually! Only had to wait another couple hours after they send a loader that couldnt take the car! So had to wait for another one..not happy! Couldn't fudge a fix (thought bout limping home just riding clutch with idle - done that before when my audis throttle sensor died)
Oh well looks like I've got a small project for winter...after taking off bonnet looks like I could do with a new airbox too
Dave I'm blaming you for not reminding me to maybe change it when I got it serviced with you. Lol..
