Quick question for the clever people out there.

I have noticed something on my Tuscan 2 s. This may just be me being over-sensitive, but on full lock I feel a knocking coming back through the steering wheel when the car is moving at slow speed, its fairly significant, so much so that my passenger felt it this morning. Haven't noticed anything at any higher speeds. Feels a little like something catching as the wheel rotates.

Any ideas....is this a benign issue, or could it represent something more expensive .

Thanks and merry Christmas to all.

Does it do it in both left and right hand turns? What kind of surface are you on? I had similar, but found it was just the tyres/wheels being "pushed" across gravel/pebbles on the driveway when on full lock pulling away. If it's only on one side it could be a loose battery pan fouling (also had this on my Mk1). Will be interesting to see others experience if any.

I had the same with mine. Mine was worse when reversing on full lock.
Can't remember what the repair was but, as with you it was on both left and right lock and they only did one side. So it's got to go back in for the other side.
I'll call in the week and ask what it was again.
Sorry not got the answer straight away.
Merry christmas,
Tony

That sounds like the same thing, mine is also worse when reversing. Would be great if you could let me know when you find out...

Thanks
