Speed Six 4.3L upgrade - Yes or No?

I am considering upgrading my Tuscan S 4.0L to a 4.3L for improved torque and power. I would like to hear from fellow TVR enthusiasts who have taken this step and what their view of the upgraded engine is. How does is feel/ sound etc and is it worth it? Has anyone experienced problems or been disappointed?

I can't comment from personal experience on the 4.3, but I can comment on the 4.5 because I have one! It is a fantastic engine. Smooth, powerful, loads of torque all topped off by the 5 year TVR Power warranty.

My car was previously a 4.0 S so it was by no means slow, but the 4.5 is just in a different league. It is THAT good.

Yes, i agree for a 4.3, i am happy with my 4.3, i still have the reviness of the 4.0 but more
power all over the rev range.(and saved some thousands not taken a 4.5)

and now he is a bloody fast Tuscan
