Tuscan for £9,995

Have seen worse looking ones for higher prices.... Paid more for my RedRose and the interior did by far not look that nice, painwork/whole car needed quite a lot of TLC...
If the blue color is the wanted type of color, it could be a cheap start into TVRs. But nonsoless... the engine rebuilt is 11 years ago... and so has probably done 40000 miles since then. That's the only real moneypit that could appear. Even though rebuild engines are not that expensive. Was the plus with mine.. had it's engine rebuild some 3000 miles ago. Best thing is to just check it out..... and who knows.. maybe the price is even still negotiable!?

he has to sell it as scrap to make no warranty valid. Being an ex car trader i fell foul of this one, price has no bearing on it, and saying "warranty declined at point of sale, no warranty implied or given" did not work, even with a massive discount!
SCRAP or spares and repairs might work..

Had a quick nose round this yesterday. Fernhurst is 5 minutes from where my parents have just moved. Quite an impressive collection of cars they have there.
As for the Tuscan like a said had a quick look at it and the paint had crazed a bit on the bonnet and had discoloured on the boot, maybe had some paint there in the past.
The trim around the screen/door on the drivers side had a crack in it.
Interior looked ok. Drivers seat showing signs of wear. 44000 miles, do Tuscan interiors wear well?
Alloys had been kerbed at some point.
Overall still looked the business. I suppose it all comes down to how healthy the engine is.

Went to see this car today, and for the money she is a bargain.
I had the chance to buy her,but she just wasnt for me,and if youre not willing to jump into Tuscan life with both feet, its not worth going there.
Graham and Simon were a joy to meet, and were fully up front with information on the car and its condition for the money.
They gave pros and cons on buying a car at this price, and made me feel comfortable with there unbiased comments.
Needless to say, within 2 hours of me walking away the car was sold..
On another note,i must say the standard/spec of the cars they sell is amazing, you may pay a bit more, but this place is defo VFM.

Must admit Mk1 Tuscan prices have me completely baffled at the moment.
Have just removed mine from classifieds as decided to keep it for now, but wondering where values are heading. There seems to have been some very cheap cars come up for sale recently, which on the face of it appear to be decent so wondering is it just the time of year, indicative of thier condition, or just a general trend in falling prices? When I bought this seemed to be the general trend:
10-12k - hpi listed car or needing work
12-16k - decent car with probably older rebuild or recent rebuild higher miles
15-20k - Nice car with recent rebuild and low miles
20k+ 4.3/4.5's or optimistic dealers
Not sure if this is still applies?
