I made the title ambiguous to ensure maximum audience!

So she turns over but doesn't fire.

Yesterday I drove home with very little petrol in the tank, and it wasn't running well,so I wonder if some gunge or water or whatever got into the fuel pump / filter etc.

So any recommended course of action please?

I guess I need to find out if fuel is flowing first.

Ta!

Had a similar instance last Saturday.

Engine cranking, but was getting slower, had the low volts alarm coming up on the pod display. After a bit of head scratching, bit the bullet, wheel off mains battery charger on....drawing 4 - 6 amps, waited for an hour - Bingo fired up on first turn of the key.

Subsequently found my battery on its way out - not accepting a full charge, but local motor factors gave me a direct replacement FOC as it was still under warranty. Result! The MBE ecu seems to be very voltage sensitive for starting.

Pretty sure my prob is a blocked fuel filter.

And do you think I could get a replacement locally yesterday? Nope. So the poor Cerbera had to donate her one.

I don't think either had ever been changed though, so they're both going to be now!

The Tusc still runs a bit rough, I suspect the coil pack for that.
