Door will not lock

Hi All
following on from my flashing LED problem, I am now on to why my passenger window will not wind up when i set the alarm. I have checked the micro switch on the door mechanism and when i "make it" the window drives up, and when i open it the window drops. This suggests to me that it knows the door is shut, however the with the alarm set the window doesn't rise and the door itself can be opened (driver side is fine and locked). I have not tried to swap the ecus yet for this fault, could it still be them in this instance. Any help and advice is as always very much appreciated.

I've had this, I forget the name of the item that needs replacing, but the symptoms you describe are similar to what I experienced. I closed the drivers window from inside the car to be able to lock securely.
