Does anyone want a door release handle / cable ?
Discussion
I had to fit these to mine as they had been removed.
It doesn't need a fitting on the end, in fact it would be impossible to thread through with one. But to make it work it does then need do something to stop the cable pulling through the hole in the latch mech. I uses a stainless nut and bolt and squeezed the end of the cable between the two.
It is VERY difficult to thread through the existing sleeve, even one stray strand will jam it. But that is still easier than replacing the whole thing. I replace the whole thing on one site of the car and it was a total nightmare, on the other side I did just the inner and that was only a nightmare.
