OK - mine also does this. I posted on the Chim forum re: the 'ice warning' light on the dash....do the manufacturers think that no one goes outside to start their car in the morning!!!
Where is the sensor for this alarm on the Tuscan? I assumed it took the information from the airbox sensor? Is there another for the pod display?

Thanks for the replies, I think i will live with it and won't disconnect anything. AS they say it works, don't touch it.
It is just a bit of a nuisance. Specially when you just start up the car, the pod keeps flashing up the frost warning when you need to keep an eye on the rev to warm up the car. Had the car for a few years now, so got to know the tune of the Engine for the rev. Well it is just one of those things of the Tiv's. I still love her to bits though.

What frost warning? On cold mornings I get coolant and oil temp low warnings but not a frost warning? The senosr is connected as the pod shows ambient temp.
Lowest temps so far was oil and coolant at -6 when I started the engine. Started fine, but did take a fair few miles to get up to 85 degrees oil temp. Heater was great kept me toasty warm pretty quickly, I even took the roof off and wasn't too cold.

Early MK1 pod software did not have the frost warning message, my MK1 was the same only low temperature messages for oil and coolant.Message Board | Tuscan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
