Anyone know where I can source a replacement for my Mk1 Tuscan? I'm after both in dark blue.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks.

Ebay. Real leather rather than crappy vinyl too.

Often looked at these but woried about colour match?!

D&C are coming my way 7th April - Cotswold meet - so hoping to get them there, my handbrake gaiter has two splits where it has trapped against trim...

I got mine from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/TOP-GAITERS-BOOTS/TVR-/

You need to mention in the comments the colour you require. Mine was black so the colour match wasn't much of an issue

thanks for the posts - I'm interested in what D&C have to offer. I might try and get along to the April meet that Rob mentioned in his post. I've had a look on ebay and there are a few out there but only in magnolia or grey. The only blue one I saw looked like it was a universial, rather than custom, fit and I agree about getting it in leather not that vinyl nonsense. Blimey, I am picky aren't I!

I just had my gaitors replaced via S&D as my vinyl ones had cracked and looked shabby. Think it cost me £80 supply and install.

They done a nice job although my reversing light isn't working anymore. Can't be sure it was them so just make sure that THEY make sure the light is still working once they put it on.

Hi There,

I changed both gaitors for my MK1 about a year ago. They were portland grey (guess interior may be similar to your as it was a mix of Prussian Blue & Portland Grey).

Got mine from the link below, or search for ebay shop 'Top Gaitor Boots'. Figured it was worth a punt for the price. When they arrived, they were FABULOUS. Couldn't fault for match, quality and fit. Can highly recommend. thumbup

Cheers

Mike

Well the portland grey ones I got from ebay are an indistinguishable match. Can't comment on the colours you need but how difficult is dark blue to match?

Car is over at Sebring having service and new throttle bodies, so isn't available for pics - it won't be back for another week i'm afraid.

All I can say is they are soft, much nicer than originals and they did the stitching in portland grey to match the two tone interior.

Probably the gear stick is not quite aligned properly, you will need an allen key to loosen it at the base of the shaft (though you will need to remove the gaiter and knob to get to it) and then rotate and test until the light comes on (check on in reverse only smile )

Can't say really as they did it as part of the seats and carpets ... less than £100 I would guess.
