Having a problem, I have checked the battery (taken out and charged) replaced the battery. She will open (ooo er missus), but when I turn ignition on everything lights up as it should. Then go to press the button on key fob to release imobiliser and start the fuel pump........ Nothing....
Has anyone got any ideas on this, thought it could be the imobiliser and taking off the battery would initialise it.
Cheers
Jonathon

Mine did exactly the same thing a couple of years ago. Turned out that I needed a new immobiliser.

Well, after speaking with Jason at St8six and running through everything he suggested he advised me to call the Meta Man. One swift phone call and the same suggestions as Jason he turned up at my door. Turns out it was the immobiliser that had given up the ghost. An hours work and all back to how it should be, new immobiliser and keys and away we go. Thanks goes to Meta Man for comming out all the way from Watford to Thatcham at short notice. His number for those who would like to jot it down (for the enevitable future reference) is 07721 654829.
