Getting in, with no power
Discussion
How do I get in with no power? Went to start the car (first time since winter down time) and battery is flat, surprise surprise. Put a slow charger on the car but it just sets off the alarm and can't open the doors as there isn't enough power!
Should putting the fob in the slot stop the alarm while it charges, worried that it isn't responding to the key fob :-S
Edit: When I put the charger on, also sounds like a fan starts too, a kind of whirring noise.

Can you connect a fully charged battery in parallel or jump start from another car?
For next winter a battery conditioner is recommended.
Not easily the way it's parked, front end in first against a wall makes getting another car close enough a bit difficult. I don't have another battery handy but could try get one tomoz. For next winter a battery conditioner is recommended.

Do you know the secret way in or someone who can tell you so you can push the car away from the wall and jump start it?The fact that the battery has gone flat makes the immobiliser think the battery has been removed for dubious reasons so once you've got the battery recharged you need to reset the immobilser by disconnecting the +ive terminal for 10 seconds or so and then pressing the fob as you reconnect the terminal that should rest the immobiliser (It bleeps 6 times iirc)

I don't know it, could you send it to me please, then I can jump it with the Honda, Will try the immobilizer technique too, feel like an idiot waking the neighbours up, should have kept a charger on the car.
Can you get to the anderson plug.
Front connector is positive taken in parralel from the front wheel "pos - neg" left to right from front of car.
Try your luck with a battery charger connect direct, or use jump leads to the battery. give it a couple of hours then try entry. Worth a punt worked for me in the past

don't. i've done it and plenty other here too.i parked mine next to the garden last 2 months and it had enough joyce to open doors but not to start. I had to drive my wife's car onto the garden to get to the anderson. guess what ..... then her car got stuck on the grass and i left a big divot on the front lawn.
