Currently halfway through cleaning and painting the chassis, have removed the exhaust pipes and found that the heat protective layer that was put on the chassis around the cats has disintegrated. I've cleaned it up and put a couple of coats of por15 on it. I also have some enamel paint that can take temp upto 400 drgrees. will this suffice, if so i will paint the chassis rails whichs run close to the exhaust pipes as well. Any opinions plse
