Hi All

I'm keen to have this done. Has anyone done this on theirs and if so where did you locate it and how does it work in relation to the normal ignition key function ?? I'll probably get Ian at TorqueRVT to do it next time I'm there, but thought I'd ask first.

Advice appreciated
Chris

Hi Chris..I have a starter button fitted to mine, where the small ashtray used to sit. I'll take some pics tonight and post them if I get a chance! You still need to turn the ignition and press the immobiliser though..

A pic or two of what yours looks like will really help. Thanks

hmm, if you still have to turn the key why do you need a starter button? Aesthetics?

I much prefer the fun of getting passengers to think that the ash tray is a "trackball" that I can use to adjust everything from the car's power to suspension settings smile

For me it's just something I would like. Just like some change the front end, add spoliers etc.
Now there's a thought..trackerball and settings - maybe I get the starter button put somewhere else and continue to adjust my suspension ride settings via the thing that is actually an ashtray !

I'd be too nervous to smoke with one hand and drive with the other! It's mainly aesthetics (I don't think it's possible to literally insert the key and start, without wholesale expensive modifications, I maybe wrong?) It's glows blue and matches the Alpine head unit very well.

I have more fun telling my passengers to say 'open sesame' to get out biggrin
