Loss of power

Hi all I had a great day out driving around North Yorkshire From 10am to 4pm Got about 10 miles from home I got a loss of power as if I was running out of fuel.Stopped at the side of the road The engine would fire but not start Waited for 10mins it started,went for another 3 miles Same again.Ended up on the back truck.Got it home it started no problem engine sounds OK. Has anybody got any ideas.

I had a similar experience last summer, it would run when not up to a certain temperature then lose power and stop as you have described. It was diagnosed as water in the carbon filter box which is part of the venting for the fuel tank. Maybe worth checking. good luck.

^^^I've heard of this as a cure to a similar symptom. IIRC it was Andie Pandie on here with his Tuscan 2 that had this problem.
