....nothing, these are the dash screws I am talking about. Took me an hour and a half to take them out, went to remove the dash and all it would do is lift up a few inches and that's it. It will not budge away from the windscreen. Its almost as if there is a secret screw somewhere!. Does it need a really good pull;) I have an early MK1. All the advice needed
Thanks

I took mine out yesterday, took 5 minutes to undo the bolts then just pull upwards. The only thing it could stick on are the air pipes on the passenger side. I think you just need to pull harder.

Ok I will give it another go, leter. 5 mins!!!!, passenger side was easy I have to say, but the drivers side I just could not get the right angle at all. This is all for the radio which does not sit correctly in the pod, as I fit the radio back it pushes out of the pod I think the wires are the problem so I am trying to stow them away under the dash. Must pull harder wink

It was the second time I had removed it! For the drivers side I found I had to lie on the ground with my left shoulder just in the car. It was the only way I could get the angle right. Good luck!

Hi Paul,

I've taken my out before. So if you're still mobile give me a call, and maybe you can bring the Tiv around, and we can talk through.

BR,

Carlos.

Make sure you've lowered the steering wheel to its lowest position.

Hi Carlos, I'm down my unit now trying to remove it, steering wheel is right down and it only lifts a few inches and then that's it. Just will not budge anymore
