99 oil psi after new oil pressure sender!!!

hi guys

just bought and fitted a new oil pressure sender as the old one started to leak.

Was a nice easy job and i fitted the new earth to the spare pin on the starter motor.

no more leaks which is great but now the pod reads 99 psi and is triggering efi fault!

could i have a dud? or have i missed resetting something.

any ideas would be great!

IIRC 99psi is the default value when the connections aren't working properly. Double check you've got the connections the right way round and the earth is good.
