Door randomly opening

Good evening all,
just a quick one
my drivers door has suddenly started opening randomly whilst parked up with alarm on
few times now on seperate days yesterday and today being the latest

im presuming this is faulty connections somewhere in the system presumably in the wing mirror solinoid as this isnt reacting till ive closed door set alarm then unset it

reason im asking is because if i start down this road with solinoids in door i end up following the full system and replacing/cleaning every connection/sensor etc and pretty much takes a few hours and costs more than i origanally set out to do(passenger door 2 weeks ago)- may aswel do it right first time and all that but if anyone else has had this then i thought i best check its not something else as if i do all this and it happens again i'd be lets say mildy annoyed

Sounds like it could possibly be the door ecu although why it would happen when parked and alarmed puzzles me. There are two of these, one for each door. They are located under the centre console in front of the gearstick. Try swapping them over to see if the problem changes sides. If it does, you will need to have it repaired. Yes that what puzzles me as the door solinoids don't react when alarm is on?
i came home last night and same thing window was down, door was open
ive left it un alarmed all night and is fine nothings happened- guess it will have to stay this way till i can look at it

At least yours didn't open itself while going on the motor and around corners at speed. I had that happen on my Tuscan one trip. Would not close either as it kept opening.

Never did find out what the issue was and it never happened again...

I have the same problem with mine, normally want to open at about 3 in the morning setting the alarm off and waking the neighbours up.
I sometimes have the drivers door open onto the first catch on the motorway aswell. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I had this on mine. Thought it was a solenoid problem but turned out to be a worn door catch mechanism causing the door to open on the first catch.
