Rear LED indicator
Discussion
I had some problems as there seemed to be signs of damp at some point so I cleaned all contacts and mine have worked ever since. From what I can tell the led's are individual ones so replacing shouldn't be too hard. I'm currently working on a project to redesign the rear light to be indicators and brake lights (all in one) but I have no spare time at the moment!

Thanks. My problem seems to be a loss of contact for some of the LEDS on one end. If I push the unit to impove the connection, they work but as soon as I release the pressure they die.
I read your post a while ago about the combined brake and indicator lights. I like the sound of that. Cheers!

Have a look at this link which may help you to remove the LED brake light. I removed mine because it didn't work at all and then found that it had been wired the wrong way round from the factory! The unit is sealed which I managed to cut open with a sharp Stanley knife and tested all the LEDs on the printed circuit board before I realised it was a hardware wiring fault.

It's the indicator I am asking about, I don't have the high level brake light. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
