Window opening when it shouldn't...

Passenger window is opening spontaneously, most often when the car is driven over a bumpy surface, so vibrations seem to be the trigger. What's the cause and what's the fix?

my limited experiance with the windows, is the little trigger in the door lock plate- take the plate off have a look at the conection might just need a clean or slipped out of place, put it back, worth a try as when i was replacing the module when i put it back together it kept tripping the window

So I had exactly this problem a while back and it took an age to diagnose - in my case the wires from the window open/close buttons (in the centre console on my car) had bared against some metal behind the dash and were shorting. It could be this, or mircroswitches (as mentioned above) or door controllers, or door ecus...
