I'm getting a little frustrated with the lights on my Tuscan. When it rains, water gets into the headlight housing, which then mists up, and generally doesn't look great. I imagine it's also not that healthy to have small puddles of water in the headlight housing either.

Any ideas of a way to solve this problem? Or is this a case of "they all do that".

Thanks in advance.

Mine also does that. It was really bad when at chatsworth last week.
I also had the same problem on my chim on the rear cluster which i did improve by drilling a tiny hole at the bottom where no water can get in but lets air in. I was thinking of doing the same to the tuscan.

If you have the tyscan 2 lights you can remove the covers and re-seal them,i think you use black sicaflex to glue them in
then black silicone sealant on top to finish, well thats how i re-sealed mine.

That's why the Mk1 Tuscan didn't have light covers. The original thought was to have covers until a wise man advised them of this potential problem if not built properly. I'm guessing the wise man was not around when the the Mk2 came out. hehe

The wise men were all there, they just spent their time concentrating on how to make the thing go ridiculously fast! The car is off for its 6k service soon, so I'll ask the guys there if they have any bright ideas. Re-sealing the headlight units has got to be the best bet though.

Not had a good look at the light yet, but how do you remove the lens?
