For some reason my drivers door has started behaving weirdly. When you open from either inside or outside the light next to the window switch flashes 5 times with a few second delay then it opens. Also guess its linked but boot release ans driver sude window have stopped working?

Any advice appreciated as was hoping to go for a quick run when it's sunny and can't get the roof off!

Cheers

Door ECU. Same happened on mine. There are two of them under the centre console. Try swapping them over to see if the problem moves to the opposite side. They will probably need repairing. The boot is linked to the passenger door ECU.

Cheers will give it a go. Think the boot lid and window may have been a coincidence as I may have knocked the internal door lock button by accident. Door still being odd, with 5 flashed before it opens and 3 flashes from window light and bizarrely internal light as well at same time..

well, two boot-y wink things in one day. must be the weather smile
Thinking about it, I too am having some alarm/immob issues.
About half the time, although the driver and passenger doors actually unlock, there is no comforting flah of the indicators (so I am left with the feeling, did it or didn't it frown ).
I guess they are all interlinked, with one root cause.
