Wanna change the exhaust cans.

Hello fellow nuts.
Tell me what the consensus is on the baddest, meanest sounding, popping-est exhaust cans. I am going on a Euro tunnel run soon and want to be adequately equipped.
f anyone is selling any or doing deals on them, let me know. I also have to budget for champagne and chalet girls, you see.
BTW mine's an S, although I am not sure this makes a difference.

I am running the CCC loud cans which sound pretty loud, i also run a De-cat which makes it very very loud.
Basically if you want all the pops and bangs you want a straight through can on the back. if you look inside the can you will notice lots of little holes which provide the baffling.
You could get your cans sleeved - (wedge a metal tube down into the can to cover off baffles or if you want to be able to change, replace the can with a straight through one.
check ebay, there are a few on there. time from ACT will also be able to make some for you exactly how you want them. he makes them with a slightly bigger bore too which gives it a deeper noise.
eitherway just make sure its straight through with no baffling and that shoudl do you!

Have your standard cans been sleeved yet? If not, hammer some stainless steel tubing into them to bypass the baffles. That will make the car noisier and give you lots of pops and bangs. If you then decat you will get even more (but from what I've read the quality of the exhaust note suffers).

Mine sounds pretty similar to that - im running a different de-cat pipe but the sound is more or less the same.
if you go down the decat route then you can either go for a high flow pip which you will have to change for MOT or an empty cat can which you may or may not need to change (new MOT regs state that there needs to be something that actually looks like a cat where the cat should be so the highflow bypass pipes will need changing
(you may still have to change an empty decat can depending on how nice your MOT garage is. Some will pass it if you can show them a set of cats that you can replace if nessesary)

Looking more into it, I am not sure what exactly I am looking for on ebay, could you post a link to a couple of examples pls?

As per previous replies- CCCs and de-cat is the avenue to explore. Sleeved/ half sleeved is by far (!) not the same as CCCs/ Powertech.
The melody produced is not everyone's cup of tea, though.
If that's not enough, remove the corner boxes.
If still too quiet, add ACT big bore from (non- existing cats) till rear "silencers". If that still doesn't do the job, exchange S6 to Merlin engine; repeat steps above

Intrigued by this bodge approach, if only because it may save me some money. But it sounds a bit too hairy chested, even for my undoubted masculine ways. Where on earth am I going to get this stainless steel tubing from? IMO, an improvement over sleeved cans is to get hold of some Carbon Can Company (CCC) cans.
