On my Mk1 Tusc the stereo only comes on when the ignition is on, the 1st click "aux" position does nothing. I've had the stereo out and metered through the rats nest of wires behind but I can't find anything going live with the 1st ignition click. Does anyone know the right colour wire to look for or are they all like this?
Thanks
Alan

On mine its a bit tricky, but it works if i turn off the ignition slowly
not fully on aux.
Then ignition is off and radio is still working!
Tuscan mk1 built in 2000!
Try it and pls give reply if it works on your car too!

Hi Uwe,
Yes you're right, I get the same if I turn it off very slowly!
Still a bit annoying though, be nice if it worked as expected. I think I might fit an override switch somewhere.
Cheers
