Anyone changed the Allen screws to something that doesn't require a tool to tighten up

Have you used them much ?

Not taking the p/ss but i have a set on the bench, they look like they might be fiddly to use "in the real world"

Yep, had them for a couple of months now. Not fiddly to use, and they're low profile enough to allow the clip to lay flat when undone.

Confused, how do theses work exactly. Are these to clamp the rear screen at the bottom and under the boot lid ?

The Raceproved clamps are metal replacements for the plastic clips at the bottom of your rear screen.
And they're tremendous, but fiddly to use because you need to use an allen key to open/close the clip.

This thread covers more convenient replacements for the allen bolts.
And, on the back of this thread, I've ordered the black plastic-capped M5 bolts mentioned in one of the posts above.....

guy incognito - you star! I've fitted the RaceApproved clamps. As found my many - a lovely design but a right pain to use. I'd been carrying around a flexible driver... then I saw the plastic wing nuts you referred to, and, like BeillyNoy, I purchased some. At last! The perfect solution - the combination of RaceApproved clamps and these bolts. Thanks!

^^^^^^^^ +1 ^^^^^^^^

Super quick delivery meant I was able to fit mine earlier this week.
I wonder why Raceproved don't supply these as standard?

No problem, as beillynoy says youd think they would use these bolts as standard, they are just so much easier to use!

Fitted some to mine today. It's true that the simplest solutions are the best

Just fitted mine too, how good does it make you feel when you make a great cheeky little improvement on the old TVR ?
