MK2 dash to MK3

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried to change their MK2 dash into the MK3s ?

I guess the wiring would be a little different... seems like a lot of work, but could be worth it!

I seem to remember it being looked at before and the majority seemed to be suggesting it was a massive job as the mk2 looms are just so overly complicated. That said, everything is possible but my guess is it would be very expensive unless you're handy with a circuit diagram.
Out of interest, why would you want to change it?

I think if I did get rid of the mk2 lcd display, i'd go for a hybrid and use the T350 clocks and dials, and an instrument binnacle similar to the Typhon

I'm simply curious, I own an MK1 but I was trying to picture the perfect Tuscan.

Would be an MK2 with MK1 rear and front and MK3 dash :-)

Never thought of the other though, could be a sensible approach !
