So I decided to sleeve my cans tonight......

Didn't get very far as couldn't get them off! Anyway I broke the first one I tried after getting aggressive after much abuse etc including heat and plenty of WD40.

I ended up cutting the remains off and using one of the sleeve tubes to piece it back together, only a temporary fix as it is blowing. It would seem they have not been off it 11years and are not in great nick internally.

What are peoples recommendations? I am going to bite the bullet and get some straight through cans and I can only find the ones on ebay at a reasonable price.

Over to you I appreciate the advice.

I'd buy these. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4034704.htm
They look like the blue flame cans that I have on mine. IMHO a better look than the CCC's.

Thanks for the steer, they do look good and I saw the advert but was ignorant to the fact the Sag and Tuscan ones are inter-changeable!

If you can find some CCC's at a reasonable price, then that would be my choice. Sound fantastic, and weigh a fraction of what a set of sleeved standard pipes weigh. I found some for £100 in the classifieds last year sometime.

My Powertech cans have a bigger inner diameter than standard.

I think they were 200 quid.

Mine has Silverstone Performance 12's or 'SP12's'.
18" - 12 spoke.
