Hi all,
Last year, driving back from Spain, the ECU died.
Didn't know that was the problem until my Tuscan was delivered home.
Just wondered if the ECU is considered fragile ?
I've driven to Germany in her quite a few times, which is where I am now and down to Spain three times.
Last year was the first problem.
Heading down to Malaga in August and it's playing on my mind.
Don't really know why as she has been fine here in Germany the last couple of weeks.
Looking forward to the Spain trip with 2600km each way and some nice hotels booked. Just got to get this out of my head.
Cheers,
Tony

I've been around this forum for about 10 years, a Tuscan owner for 9, and it's not something I've heard of before it that helps.

No, thats what I thought.
I think that there must have been issues with my original unit.
My Tuscans running so much better with the replacement.
I've had this annoying little voice telling me to take a spare but at a grand a go I dont think so.

Cheers,
Tony.

It can burn out if it get repeatedly wet and the insides corrode. Seen it happen on a few S6 TVRs over my time at you-know-where.

Glad the Tuscan is still running well though. Enjoy..!

Hey Claire,
How are you. Notice it's pretty hot where you are right now.
Your Sags looking well. Ian won't let me use it as a courtesy car wink
She's running fine now. Just the hickup last summer driving back from Spain.
Had to leave her in a little village north of Toulouse.
Glad I'm in the ADAC. smile

Not to worry, your Sag hasnt left the workshop.
Ian has to shuffle the cars around occasionally but she was under a plastic sheet last time I was there.
No problems now, just exorcisng the 2011 ghost ready for my 2012 trip. 5200 km of pure Tuscanness.
Gary was thinking of selling his Sag. (Sue says yes wink but my Euros are rather crap at the moment).
