Petrol smell after filling tank

Found small splits and perished areas of the 3/4" breather rubber pipe from the tank to the filler neck

I had perishing/cracks int the fuel pipe from the tank to the pump in my previous 04 Tuscan which only had 8k on the clock! Obviously I changed it pronto!

Not heard great things generally about fuel pipes on tvrs, so I've fitted new hoses throughout on myJan 2000 tuscan rebuild project. It's worth checking all of the pipes to be on the safe side every few months as part of the pre flight inspections I think!

I had the same cracks but no smells - changed to marine grade hose, both between the tank and pump and pump and filter....
