slave cylinder replacement
Discussion
I take it from looking at the pictures I've seen of the slave cylinders, to replace one involves the removal of the gearbox, and if the existing clutch has done 20k miles you may as well change the clutch too at the same time. I'd have thought the seals going would have rendered the clutch useless anyway as surely the clutch fricition plates would get contaminated with fluid.
So..next question, it where is the best place to go for the lot, and is a raceproved clutch a worthwhile upgrade? I assume replacing the slave as a whole to just the seals it a safer albeit more expensive bet too?
Thanks!
